Underfloor Heating
There is hard-flooring throughout the property, limestone flooring in the kitchen and main living room and laminate flooring in the bedrooms.
Underfloor heating is throughout and managed by a sophisticated zoned wi-fi system. The property is extremely well insulated. We have set the temperature to what we consider comfortable and the thermostat is centrally locked.
Log Burner
Our log burner makes our living room extra cosy and we supply a complimentary large bag of kiln-dried logs and kindling in the log basket. More logs are available at cost. Please note, this is not a multi-fuel burner.
WiFi
There is free Wi-Fi in the property.
Unlike many rural areas in Ryedale we have exceptional (usually uninterrupted) superfast broadband. This is for the free use of guests but please note that you are responsible for its safe and appropriate use and compliance with all laws. Due to the thickness of the walls and enhanced insulation within Sykes Lodge, each room has its own wi-fi code
