Accessible Features - Inside
Guests are able to drive up to the gentle ramp providing easy access to the front door. There are flat, wide door thresholds to all entrances.
There is one interior step from the main sitting room to the upper wing to the master suite, library and two of the twin bedrooms. There is a ramp in place for ease of access if required.
All internal doorways are extra wide to allow for wheelchair access and all internal surfaces are wheelchair friendly.
One very shallow step goes between the kitchen and main living room. A small ramp can be fitted to allow wheelchair access please make us aware of a need for this prior to your arrival.
We do not supply any mobility equipment ourselves but are happy for you to bring or hire your own.
Accessible Features - Outside
Guests are able to drive up to the gentle ramp providing easy access to the front door. There are flat, wide door thresholds to all entrances.
There is easy access to the patio in the courtyard via the master suite and between the various changes in level of the outside areas. There is also easy direct access to the outside from The Motor House.
There is wheelchair access to the upper levels of the courtyard to the path behind the flowerbed and into the grassed paddock area.
There are gravelled areas to the driveway and parking areas. This is small gravel on a tarmac surface. Some assistance may be required if a non powered wheelchair is being used.
